Social Skiing/Riding Club
Do your New Year's resolutions include skiing/riding and meeting new people? Well if not, they should, and if they do, you are in luck! Join CCMRD for weekly trips to Loveland Ski Area. You are responsible for equipment and lift tickets, and we'll do the driving! Discounted rentals and lift tickets available at Exit 240 Ski and Raft rentals in Idaho Springs. What a great way to meet new people and spend some time on the snow! Pick-ups and drop offs in Idaho Springs and Georgetown.

Location: CCMRD van will leave the rec center in Idaho Springs at 11:00, and pick up in Georgetown at the visitors center at 11:15.

Cardiovascular and weight room equipment may be used by those 14 years
of age and older without supervision. Weight room equipment may be used by younger participants with the direct supervision of a parent or guardian.

Weightroom Orientation
Do you need to know how to use the weight room equipment?
Personal Trainer Amy Maynard will give an overview of equipment and familiarize you with our weight room!

Youth 14 to 16 must complete an orientation before they can use the equipment without a parent.

25/100 Mile Swim or 100/250/500 Run/Walk Club

Stop by the front desk today and fill out a membership card. At the end of each workout, the front desk staff will mark off your mileage. When you reach the 25/100 swim or 100/250 walk/run you will receive a FREE Recreation Center T-shirt. When you reach the 250 Swim or 500 walk/run, your name will be placed on a plaque in the front lobby.

Friends of Charlie’s Place
A brand new nonprofit 501(c)3 organization supporting the Clear Creek/Gilpin Animal Shelter. They are in need of people to come to the shelter and walk dogs. We will give you a mile and a day pass to the Rec Center every time you volunteer and walk a dog. Just come to the Recreation Center and let us know and we will be happy to mark it down! The Wall

Our 25 foot wall contains 3 top rope climbs with varying difficulty and overhangs which offers challenges for everyone. Climbing routes are set according to the Yosemite Decimal System (YDS) ranging from 5.7 – 5.11 and are changed occasionally. Bouldering is also available.

BELAY CERTIFICATION: 
If you wish to use the wall and belay you must become belay certified, otherwise a staff member will have to belay for you.  Certifications for belaying will be done at the cost of $5.00 during open climb.

Open Wall Climb
Staff will be available to belay for all, but if parents are belay certified they are welcome to belay for their children.

Time: 2:30pm - 5:00pm
**CHILDREN 14 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHEN USING THE WALL**

ALL CLIMBERS MUST FILL OUT AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK FORM BEFORE USING THE WALL.  CLIMBERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST HAVE A LEGAL GUARDIAN SIGN THEIR ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK FORM.
