Facilities
The District operates multiple facilities designed to meet the recreation needs of many interest-groups. All are welcome to use these facilities located throughout the District. Drop by to use the ballfields, tennis courts, skatepark, multi-purpose court or outdoor basketball court and sand volleyball pit at the Recreation Center anytime they are not scheduled for an activity.
Our policy is to make District facilities available to host parties, family reunions, or other special events. In many cases for FREE! There may be a modest fee for an event where individual participants are charged or if an event will require preparation, clean up, or Recreation District staff. Simply call the Recreation Center to make your reservations.

Idaho Springs Ballfield Complex
Two softball/youth baseball fields, one batting cage, and one concession stand. Available for league, tournament or pick-up games. Adjacent to south side of I-70 at exit 241.

Idaho Springs Multi-Purpose Court
Designed for Basketball and In-line Hockey. Located at Miner St.
& Colorado Blvd. intersection.

Idaho Springs Skatepark
The place to skate in Clear Creek County. Located at the east end of Riverside Drive.

Idaho Springs Tennis Court
Located next to the Visitor’s Center on Colorado Blvd. Lights are available for use from 6:30am - 10:00pm, Memorial Day thru
Labor Day
